The MTN/Enablis Business Bootcamp is an initiative of Enablis in partnership with MTN Foundation Ghana. The aim of the project was to inculcate the culture of entrepreneurship among the youth, motivate them to set up their own businesses and create jobs for themselves and others. Starting up Businesses is the surest way that a country can reduce and alleviate poverty and also a good business plan serves as a road map for a business and is very critical to the survival, growth and profitability of a business.
Participants were taken through a two-day intensive entrepreneurial program by high level business professionals in Ghana including Mr. Robert Yakohene (R&D Manager UT Bank), Mr. Daniel Mensah (Program Manager, Enablis).
The event was promoted Nationwide but widely in the Greater Accra and Northern Region where the boot camps were held. The Southern sector boot camp was held on the 30th to 31st August at University of Ghana Faculty of Law Auditorium. The Northern sector boot camp was held in Tamale at the Sports Stadium on the 31st October and 1st November 2013.
